K S Naveen with cent percent score of 6/6 won the Open section of the 64 Squares Chess Academy 10th Open & Children’s chess tournament held on Sunday 24th August, 2025 at Citi Centre Mall, Chennai. The event running successfully for the tenth fortnight in a row attracted 224 entries in Open, Under 9, 12, 15 (Boys & Girls) including 71 International Rated players. 75 prizes including cash prizes for Rs. 35,000 (Rupees thirty five thousand only) were distributed in the Open section. 15 Category prizes and trophies for the Boys & 10 prizes for Girls Categories were distributed by renowned chess Journalist Arvind Aaron. Present on the occasion were Chief Arbiter M Vijayakumar, FIDE Trainer V Ravichandran & Candidate Master S C Subramanian of 64 Squares Chess Academy.
