Priority sector advances as a percentage of ANBC stood at <strong>42.83% <\/strong>as against the regulatory requirement of <strong>40%<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>Net Profit<\/em><\/strong><em> up by <strong>52%<\/strong> YoY to <strong>\u20b93697 Cr in <\/strong>H1FY24from <strong>\u20b92439<\/strong> <strong>Cr <\/strong>in H1FY23<\/em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"642\" height=\"46\" src=\"\"><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Profit Before Tax<\/em><\/strong><em> up by <strong>76%<\/strong> YoY to <strong>\u20b95146 Cr <\/strong>inH1FY24from <strong>\u20b92917<\/strong> <strong>Cr <\/strong>in H1FY23<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Operating Profit<\/em><\/strong><em> increased by <strong>17%<\/strong> YoY to <strong>\u20b98437 Cr<\/strong> in H1FY24 from <strong>\u20b97194 Cr<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Net Interest Income<\/em><\/strong><em> grew by <strong>24% <\/strong>YoY to <strong>\u20b911444 Cr<\/strong> in H1FY24 from <strong>\u20b99218<\/strong> <strong>Cr<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Net Interest Margin (NIM) Domestic <\/em><\/strong><em>increased by <strong>42<\/strong> <strong>bps<\/strong> YoY to <strong>3.57%<\/strong> from <strong>3.15% <\/strong>in H1FY23<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Return on Assets (RoA<\/em><\/strong><em>) improved by <strong>29<\/strong> bps to <strong>1.01%<\/strong> from <strong>0.72%<\/strong> in H1FY23<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Return on Equity (RoE)<\/em><\/strong><em> increased by <strong>490 bps<\/strong> to<strong> 18.90% <\/strong>from<strong> 14.00% <\/strong>in H1FY23<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Cost-to-Income Ratio <\/em><\/strong><em>stood at<strong> 44.29% <\/strong>as against <strong>43.14%<\/strong> in H1FY23<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Network:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Bank has <strong>5819<\/strong> domestic branches including 3 Digital Banking Units (DBUs), out of which <strong>1974<\/strong> are Rural, <strong>1522<\/strong> are Semi-Urban, <strong>1174 <\/strong>are Urban &amp; <strong>1149<\/strong> are in Metro category. The Bank has <strong>3<\/strong> overseas branches &amp; <strong>1<\/strong> IFSC Banking Unit (IBU).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Bank has <strong>4866 <\/strong>ATMs &amp; BNAs and <strong>10825<\/strong> Business Correspondents (BCs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Digital Banking:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mobile Banking users increased by <strong>47%<\/strong> YoY.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UPI users and transactions increased by <strong>34%<\/strong> YoY and <strong>65%<\/strong> YoY respectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bank has so far launched 63 Digital Journeys under its Digital Transformation Program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>86% of transactions are now carried out through digital channels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Our Focus:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Indian Bank is strategically expanding the business and major thrust will be on retail, agriculture, and MSME sectors, targeting 10-12% credit growth in FY24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Embracing digital banking as our core focus, we are dedicated to fostering financial growth and prosperity for individuals and businesses across diverse sectors of society.
