This initiative gives aftercare support to individuals who have undergone head and neck cancer treatments and are having difficulty speaking, swallowing, or breathing. Many survivors of neck and head cancer face difficulty in chewing, speaking, and breathing, and there is still a lack of facilities and aftercare treatment information. Voice disorders are frequently ignored in India, but the fact that they can have a psychological effect and lead to social isolation. There are few integrated rehabilitation clinics that bring together ENT specialists, oncologists, speech therapists, swallowing experts, dietitians, and pulmonary rehabilitation under one roof.<br>The Apollo Proton Cancer Centre program strongly enforces the growing importance of post-cancer rehabilitation.
